MegaDancers: European Salsa League is a championship for participants residing in countries of the European Economic Community. The best couples and soloists in salsa dancing, a fashionable activity, will be chosen. The Beckhams, Salma Hayek or Will Smith are recent examples of the rise of this modality in which culture and sport come together.
The date for the event in the island's capital, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, will be announced soon, once the agreement with the Council of Culture of the capital of Tenerife and the Development Society, the main sponsors of the event, has been finalised. There will be workshops and various complementary activities. There will also be shows and performances by prestigious international dancers.
